The Boom in Pulp Reprints (audio file)

Several years ago, at Pulpcon 35, held in Dayton, Ohio in 2006, I was asked to participate in a panel discussion on the boom of pulp reprints appearing on the market. The emcee for the evening's discussion was El Hulse, editor of Bloon'n'Thunder. Others on the panel were John Gunnison (Adventure House), Rich Harvey (Bold Venture Press) and Neil Mechem (Girasol Collectibles). An audio file (running 56 m.) is available of the panel discussion here for your listening pleasure.

hells_hoofprints_thumbnail_websiteDavy Crockett's Almanack gives a shout out this morning for Hell's Hoofprints by Lester Dent, one of three Dent collections we released in 2009. Hell's Hoofprints collects all the stories Lester Dent sold toWestern Trails magazine between 1932 and '33, plus another story written for Western Trails that never appearing there.

Rounding out the collection are non-fiction articles, letters to the editor, submission notes and records from Dent's notebooks.
